Because of the infinite number of feature combinations, design layouts and sizes, UPT has never built two identical machines. Custom built dip molding machines should be better defined as specialty machines that do not fit into another category such as rotary, manual or in-line. A good example would be a log chain coating machine. This design would provide good results when processing log chain but could not be productively used for other products.
Because of UPT's experience with dip molding and capabilities with technologies such as programmable logic controllers, human-machine interfaces, servo motion control, vision systems, robotics and others, custom or specialty machines are commonplace. UPT has also built rotational molding equipment, plastic welding equipment, and many other specialty machines.
Our approach to providing the best machine possible for a given product or product line is to work with our customers from concept to completion and not try to force a product into a given design simply because the design is "standard".All our customers have different dip molding or dip coating needs and ideas and UPT leads the way meeting those needs.
